Production Equipment

Main types of polyester thread
Corespun polyester threads Are a combination of a filament polyester core thread wrapped in spun polyester. It is also known as 'Poly-core spun-poly', "P/P", and "PC/SP" thread. The benefit of using a core spun polyester thread like OMNI or OMNI-V, is the added strength that the filament core adds.
Filament polyester Is a continuous fiber thread. Some hear the word filament and incorrectly assume it is monofilament. Monofilament, which looks like fishing line, is just one type of filament thread. It is a single (mono) strand thread. MonoPoly is an example of a monofilament thread.
Trilobal polyester Is a multiple filament, twisted, high-sheen continuous fiber thread. It has the bright appearance of rayon or silk, but the advantages of a polyester fiber. Triangular shaped fibers reflect more light and give an attractive sparkle to textiles.
Spun polyester threads Are made by spinning or twisting together shorter lengths of polyester fibers. This is similar to the way cotton threads are made. These short fibers are then twisted together to produce a thread of the desired size. Spun polyester threads give the look of a cotton thread, but have more elasticity.
Bonded Polyester Is a strong polyester thread used for upholstery applications. Since polyester has fantastic UV resistance, bonded polyester is commonly used for outdoor furnishings and automotive upholstery.

Size 33 (Tex 30) Polyester is a lightweight thread used on home and commercial machines with a size 80/12 to 90/14 needle.
Polyester - Size 46
Size 46 (Tex 45) Polyester is a lightweight thread used on home and commercial machines with a size 90/14 to 100/16 needle.
Polyester - Size 69
Size 69 (Tex 70) is a middleweight thread used on home and commercial machines with a size 100/16 to 110 /18 needle.
Polyester - Size 92
Size 92 (Tex 90) is a middleweight thread used on commercial machines with a size 110/18 to 125/20 needle. Its stitch appearance is noticeable.

Size 138 (Tex 135) is a middle to heavyweight thread used on commercial and heavy duty machines with a size 125/20 to 140/22 needle

Size 346 (Tex 350) is a heavyweight thread used on heavy duty machines with a size 220/26 to 260/28 needle.
Polyester - Size 415
Size 415 (Tex 410) is a heavyweight thread used on heavy duty machines with a size 260/28 to 330/30 needle.
Polyester - Size 554
Size 554 (Tex 600) is an ultra heavyweight thread used on heavy duty machines with a size 330/30 to 360/32 needle.
Process of Polyester Thread
Cleaning and rolling
Pour polyester staple fibers into the turntable, disrupt and combine the original regular fibers to form rolled fiber blocks.
Carding and splicing
The carding machine will continue to comb and splicing large pieces of packaged fibers into small strips.
Roving and spun yarn
The roving and spinning frame adjust the strip fibers to the desired count, such as 50S, 40S, 20S, 30S and other single yarns.
Stitching and twisting
The stitching machine twists the single yarn into the required number of strands, such as 50S/2, 40S/2, 20S/2, 30S/3, etc.
Twisting and loosening
The finished strands are made into skeins or bobbins, ready for dyeing.
Dyeing and packaging
According to the customer's needs, the color is dyed and shipped.
